Traveling West and South

We traveled on Friday and Sat. across Oklahoma and into Texas to the Cadillac Ranch RV park in Amarillo. A bit of a white knuckle drive for Bob in what Oklahoma weather noted as "Fair" winds. I noticed flags standing straight out and pointing north while we traveled west. Definitely small craft advisory winds back home.
The Cadillac Ranch RV park is a convenient overnight with a very cool neon sign. A Camping World is only a mile away and we did take advantage of that and upgraded our leveling ramps to plastic so that even I can carry them around. We decided to hit a couple tourist sights on our way to Tuscon; Roswell and White Sands, New Mexico. Some of the main roads off the major interstates were just country back roads and Bob did think I'd made a navigational mistake. We are in the Red Barn RV park in Roswell now. It's a very nice, small campground and Charlie is loving it. He can play ball here (we can't always do that while camping) and take long walks along the farm fields.
